Requirements

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Visions and Values
  • Loves people and guest service!
  • Has a passion for food and wine and dedication to quality
  • Management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferred
  • Oversees daily operations and ensures outstanding services within our dining room, bar, Tasting Room and host stand areas
  • Leads the restaurant team to execute Cooper’s Hawk policies and procedures
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, schedules, supervises, coaches and inspires all front of house team members for location
  • Orchestrates and schedules restaurant team members as needed throughout all shifts
  • Coaches a team-based service approach throughout the restaurant
  • Organizes and maintains timely paperwork for all hired employees and applicants in accordance to employment laws
  • Trains front of house team members to increase knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
  • Leads pre-shift meetings to communicate daily Chef Recommendations, policy updates, and general information to inspire the restaurant team
  • Educates our team on our Wine Club and coaches and inspires them to in turn, educate our Guests
  • Conducts inventory per company policy
  • Controls food, beverage and labor costs
  • Ability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts at the restaurant
  • Has strong leadership, communication and organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment
